JOB SUMMARY:

The TRIAD Outreach Team is looking for a candidate with a strong background in early intervention consulting services for a 1-3 year old children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) that includes conducting behavioral assessments, developing social and communication routines and skills, training parents in evidence-based practices.

Several years of experience working directly with children with ASD. Excellent communication/presentation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. A fairly extensive amount of local (i.e., non-overnight) travel is also required for this position. This travel will be completed with the consultant's own car; gas reimbursement will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, preparing and conducting behavioral assessments and training activities for parents and community service providers who work with children with ASD.

  • Consulting with parents and community providers to help them develop appropriate goals and activities for individual children via home, clinic, and telemedicine-based services.

  • Participating in diagnostic evaluation through direct assessment and/or collaboration with evaluating psychologists.

  • Develop content for a variety of instructional programs using in field experience and expertise as necessary to research and/or review other research provided by experts. Based on research and expertise, the content developed should be presented in a collaborative manner and within an appropriate delivery mode that enables learning by those identified in the target audience (i.e. instructors, educators, etc.).

Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 1 year relevant experience
