LIS Product Specialist(Lab Info Systems)

Analyze operational processes and information generation or utilization. Design, develop, manage, test, train, implement and support computer-based information systems. Manage multidisciplinary teams within Health IT for continuous process improvement, maintenance functions and support for business operations, analyst and programmers with technical problems. Mentor, train and educate lower level resources.

Must have knowledge of Millennium PathNet, Cerner CoPath Plus, and/or Millennium Helix and/or Soft Lab and Soft Bank or prepared to become a subject matter expert in all areas.

Key Functions and Expected Performances:

  • Knowledge Level: EachPosition must contain a level of knowledge of all the applications withinthe LIS team to manage and support. As the employee grows anddevelops, their ability to be an SME within each application is achievedand changes. End result and goal is that any level can do basic supportand on call while employees grow in the knowledge and understanding of theapplications utilized on the team and less support by the vendor.

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 2 years relevant experience
